‘HALWA’ is a socially oriented movie, made under the banner of White Rose Films, lt is ready for release. A tasty sweet dish is scheduled to be served to the cinegoers. The film is based on the life and longings of Slum urchins. It is story of some very poor orphans. To make their both ends meet, they used to pick some ‘useful’ thing from the garbage, to sell them. For a meager amount. One day they get a a shinning white item from the dirt ‘n’ dust and take it to their hut, as a China piece.
Then suddenly Drug-smugglers start to follow and shadow them. They become their ruthless enemy and the lives of the children turn into the Hell.
Halwa is a short film, made for National and International Festivals specially. Naturally it is very realistic, very delicate and above all very constructive. When the script of the movie was shown to some of the Known and established directors, they could not dare to accept this assignment. Then Sandeep Sir came forward and took the rein of direction with a challenge.
The film has been passionately produced by Dharmesh Saxena and the screenplay and Dialouge have been penned by Sangeeta Gupta. It has been photo graphed by Shakeel A. Khan. Abbas Ali is the Action director of the film. Real and rare artists have been included in the cast, to give it a realistic look,
The artists of the film include Praveen Yadav Payal Pandey, Ranjana Y. Mokal, Sanjay Dhillon, Janardhan Singh, Neeraj Sharma, Dharmesh Saxena, and Imran Ahmed.
